Mysore Ooty Kodaikanal Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore
Meet on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon proceed for
Bangalore sightseeing covering Lalbagh, Cubbonpark, Bull temple,
Vidhana Soudha-built in 1954 in granite, this massive building
houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat. Visit Bull temple,
Dravidian-style temple, has a huge monolithic Bull is the vahana of
Lord Shiva. Return to hotel. Evening free and overnight.
Day 02: Bangalore / Mysore (3hrs / 140kms)
Morning check out & proceed to Mysore, enroute visit
Srirangapatna, Island fortress of Tippu Sultan, the legendary Tiger
of Mysore who put up a valiant fight against British domination.
Visit Tippu's Summer Palace, Mosque, and Sriranganatha Temple. On
arrival transfer to Hotel. Evening free.
Day 03: Mysore
Visit to Maharaja Palace-built in 1911-12 by Wodeyar Rulers, the
palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style. Visit to
Chamundi Hills, St. Philomena’s Church, Art Gallery. Evening visit
world famous Brindavan Garden. Overnight.
Day 04: Mysore / Ooty (160 kms / 04 Hrs)
Morning check out & proceed to Ooty, enroute visit Bandipur
Wildlife sanctuary. On arrival check in to a hotel and evening visit
Ooty Lake and Botanical Garden. Overnight.
Day 05: Ooty
Morning visit Doddabetta Peak & Coonoor. Evening free at
leisure. Overnight.
Day 06: Ooty / Kodaikanal (250 km / 7 hrs)
Morning check out & proceed to Kodaikanal. On arrival check in
to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight.
Day 07: Kodaikanal
Visit Kodai Lake, Coaker’s Walk, Silver Cascade, Bryant Park,
Pillar Rocks & Dolphin’s Nose. Evening free at leisure. Overnight.
Day 08: Kodaikanal / Coimbatore (180 kms / 05 Hrs)
Morning check out & proceed to Coimbatore airport or Railway
station to board your flight or train. TOUR ENDS.
